Webmountainbike also contributes charitable donations to several environmental organizations worldwide which are listed on our web site. *We use recycled shipping materials (cardboard and newspaper), recycled boxes, and avoid plastic except when it is re-cycled itself and only when necessary for packaging. *We DO NOT use shipping "peanuts" or styrofoam pellets. *Webmountainbike keeps a "small" carbon emissions footprint to minimize greenhouse gases, and believes in combating global warming. *We use super efficient compact flourescent lighting (CFL'S), minimize the use of paper, and keep our power usage trimmed for efficiency. *We also reduce standby power waste, and completely shut off and unplug equipment when not in use to save up to 25% of our power usage. *Our company recycles paper, glass, steel, aluminum, and plastic to save natural resources and to reduce pollution. *We use solar power in exterior lighting *We have upgraded our climate control system to use PURON which is more environmental friendly than Freon with increased efficiency *We are expanding our program to use compact flourescent lighting in more fixtures When our customers purchase from us, they too are helping the environment!!
