There are trying to reintroduce the brown bear to it's habitat. The brown bear reintroduction plan is in the Selway-Bitteroot Wilderness of Idaho and Montana. A bear hasn't been seen in the Bitterroot since the 1940's... The NWF has the oppurtunity to reintroduce another species to it's historic home.
