 This "butt pack" or "lumbar" pack made by Inertia Designs is made for mountain biking... It has a removable belt of sweat wicking dr-lux for padding and comfort.The Cross-Country is a bombproof lumbar pack, the removable belt is lined with a sweat wicking material for padding, comfort and excellent weight distribution. The large main compartment has a hanging pocket for small items and a rear baffled pocket like on our Excursion Pannier, perfect for overstuffing. The removable side mesh pockets will hold a bike or one liter Nalgene bottle. The modular pocket system allows you to replace one or both of the mesh pockets with an insulated one designed to fit a standard bike bottle.
*The lumbar area is one of the best spots to carry gear while riding - low center of gravity, easily accesssible, keeps weight off of the bike, and holds a lot of stuff!
